If you’re only new to kayaking and thinking about buying a kayak it can be very overwhelming
when choosing your first kayak. There are heaps of different brands and within
each brand there’s all different types of kayaks.
To review every kayak on the
market would be impossible for me so I will only be reviewing the Kayaks I use which
is Ocean Kayaks. They are the number 1 selling sit on kayak in the world. They make
all different types of kayaks for different purposes. I’m fortunate enough to get
different kayaks to try and review. I have tested out four kayaks in there range
so far and will write about each one, as well as uploaded footage from each kayak
showing there capabilities.
Scrambler 11:
This is a great all rounder kayak suitable
for just about everything.
The new Scrambler 11 is extremely stable and maneuverable.
This kayak is the perfect choice for the paddler who may want to surf a little, fish
a little or just cruise around.
The new hull design makes this very fast for it’s
length as well as very stable.
It’s the best all rounder kayak on the market for
under $1000.00. It comes with a seat, paddle, bungie straps, tow strong cary handles,
two rod holders and a small hatch.
The beauty of this kayak is you can add to it
if you get more serious about fishing.
There’s a recess already for a transducer
for a fish finder, you can add a large front hatch and it has srew threads ready
for a running rig to add a ancor or sea anchor.
It comes in a range of colours and
is suitable for the whole family.
You can get cheaper kayaks but none will match this
one for speed, quality and versatility.

The
Torque is unlike any kayak you have seen on the market. The Torque features a Minn
Kota trolling motor. Infinitely variable speed control allows you to hit the perfect
pace for trolling. And if that wasn't enough, this quiet motor also has reverse capability
to allow you to easily maneuver in and out of tight spots. Not in the mood to motor
around? Not to worry. The motor can easily be removed for transport or swapped out
with a skeg plug. The Torque takes kayak fishing to the next level and is suitable
of estuary’s or outside fishing.
