Kiama is great place to go for a fish and take the family. The boat ramp is well protected from most swells and you can get good fish almost as soon as your in the water. If your after game fish you can paddle a couple of hundred metres to the front of the blow hole where you can catch, snapper, bonito, salmon, kingfish, tuna, and even the odd Black Marlin between January to the end of April.

On the Northern side of the Blow hole is where you get your Yakkas and slimey mackeral. There’s also a lot of Yakkas in the harbour. The best time in the harbour is before the sun comes up. Squid can also be caught over the dark patches in the harbour.
This picture is looking South from the Blow Hole. Anywhere along this coast can be good to fish.
